FAQ

    HealthDynamics FAQ’s

    • Where is the HealthDynamics Program available and who can participate in the Program?
      • The HealthDynamics Program is made available anywhere in the country through a custom PPO network, currently in 11 states with 50 satellite provider locations with the ability to set up additional providers. Once a provider location is selected and set up, any size employer can utilize that facility 52 weeks a year. This PPO model enables a consistent Program to be implemented throughout the country and allows all of the data to reside in one data repository and decision support system.

    • How is the HealthDynamics Program covered under a company’s employee benefit?
      • The HealthDynamics exam is typically covered under the routine care, annual exam or preventive care benefit. The Program is paid for at 100% and typically shifts dollars within the routine care benefit.

    • Why should everyone participate annually in the HealthDynamics Program?
      • HealthDynamics strongly believes that both young and old should participate in the Program annually. The greatest Return On Investment (ROI) is in preventing a low health risk individual from moving into a higher risk category, rather than attempting to reduce the health risks of a high risk individual. Thus, it is very important that both the young and healthy participate annually, as well as those of higher age.

    • What does the consultation consist of and of what value is it?
      • The consultation consists of a one-hour wellness coaching session approximately two weeks after the initial exam. Within the coaching session, an allied health professional reviews all of the clinical data and medical history collected, and provides an exercise prescription, diet and other lifestyle recommendations. This will serve to reduce the individual’s risk of cardiovascular disease and cancer, or prevent a low risk individual from engaging in a lifestyle that will increase health risks. Appropriate referrals are given for intervention and all recommendations are presented to the individual’s primary care physician for follow-up. If the individual does not have a primary care physician, he or she is provided the opportunity to select one.
